Care and Maintenance

To ensure a long life for your patio furniture and the highest levels of enjoyment for yourself, please refer to the following care and maintenance guidelines.

Caring for  & Cleaning Aluminum Furniture

Aluminum frames never rust, but scratches can occur. If the powder-coated paint finish is scratched, sand the area lightly and retouch with paint. To prevent the finish from wearing, use a soft cloth to apply a clear liquid automotive wax.

Caring for & Cleaning Hardwood Furniture

It is natural for hardwood furniture to weather and turns gray, however, applying linseed oil after each season can help preserve and maintain the set's original finish. Additionally, it is recommended to store hardwood sets in a cool, arid place when not in use.

Caring for & Cleaning Resin Wicker Furniture

Resin wicker resists fading a mildew, so to the material in its best condition simply wipe the frames with a lightly damp cloth.

Caring for & Cleaning Steel Furniture

Steel can rust over time due to natural element exposure, despite having a rust-resistant powder-coated finish. If rust or scratches appear, sand the area lightly and retouch with paint. To prevent the finish from wearing, use a soft cloth to apply a clear liquid automotive wax.

Caring for & Cleaning Wrought-Iron Furniture

Like Steel, Wrought-Iron can rust over time due to natural element exposure, despite having a powder-and E-coated rust-resistant. If rust or scratches appear, sand the area lightly and retouch with paint. To prevent the finish from wearing, use a soft cloth to apply a clear liquid automotive wax.

Caring for & Cleaning Glass Tabletops

Table tops can accumulate a variety of outdoor elements throughout the season, so to remove them begin by wiping the glass with a damp cloth followed by cleaning with a glass-approved household cleaner. Additionally, if you are using an umbrella, always use an umbrella base and be sure that the “O” ring for the umbrella hole on the table is in place.

Caring for Ceramic Tile Or Stone Tabletops

Apply a stone-enhancing sealant every six months to maintain the natural quality of tile or stone and during the fall and winter months, store in a dry location where temperatures do not fall below freezing.

Caring for Outdoor Furniture with Cushions

Cushions should be washed in a mild soap and water solution, rinsed thoroughly and drip-dried, not machine washed.
